Training

Tess took an interest in ballet at just barely 3 years old. From 2014-2020 she studied with the Boston Ballet School North Shore under the principalship of Jessica Kreyer.

In the fall of 2020 she joined the Conservatory at Northeast School of Ballet under the direction of Denise Cecere and Joseph Jeffries from which she graduated in the spring of 2024. She expanded on her foundational training in the rigorous pre-professional program which focused heavily on the refinement of technique in classical ballet, while being pushed to perform classical and contemporary repertoire with excellence. She also broadened her movement quality and artistic exploration with classes in modern, jazz, ballroom, pointe, partnering, improvisation lab, Pilates, and cross training.

Between 2020-2023 she was fortunate to work closely with coach and mentor Jean-Pierre Bonnefoux who was on faculty at NSB and enriched the training of Conservatory Trainees and Chautauqua students with his masterful eye and love for dance.

In August 2024 she joined the Professional Division at Pacific Northwest Ballet under the direction of Peter Boal where she is continuing her journey into the professional dance world. She practices professionalism performing and working alongside the company while refining her technique and artistry training under the esteemed faculty.
